SHOES is a wonderful regional conference. The call of papers for the 2020 conference has not yet been established, but it will be at the University of South Carolina on March 20-21, 2020. More information will be posted when it becomes available.

Of course, as this Popular Culture Affinity Group is affiliated with the History of Education Society, we encourage our members to join, attend, and present at the Annual Meeting. The deadline has passed for paper proposals for the 2019 conference, but you can find conference information here.
POPULAR CULTURE ASSOCIATION/AMERICAN CULTURE ASSOCIATION

The PCA/ACA has numerous opportunities for presentation of works regarding popular culture and the history of education. In particular, there is an entire section devoted to Education, Teaching, History and Popular Culture. Proposals for the 2020 conference in Philadelphia (April 15-18) are due November 1. INTERNATIONAL STANDING CONFERENCE ON THE HISTORY OF EDUCATION

ISCHE maintains a close relationship with the History of Education Society. You can find information about next year's ISCHE conference in Orebro, Sweden here.
AMERICAN EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATION​

Division F of AERA focuses on work in history and historiography of education. The deadline for paper proposals has passed, but the conference itself is in San Francisco on April 17-21, 2020. More information can be found here.
INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF EDUCATIONAL BIOGRAPHY

The ISEB provides an outlet for scholars working in the area of biography, including and especially those working in the role of biography in the history of education. The call for papers for the 2020 conference in St. Louis has not been posted, but this site will be updated as information becomes available.
